Local business people have given their overwhelming backing to plans for Surrey Training & Enterprise Council, Business Link Surrey and Surrey Chambers of Commerce to merge into a single business support and training body.

Initial feedback from the county-wide consultation, which included a series of consultative meetings in Egham, Guildford and Epsom, and culminated in a public meeting at Epsom Racecourse last week, shows that there is strong support throughout Surrey for the linkup between the three organisations.
